Business Intelligence Consultant

The primary duties of the Business Intelligence Consultant are to perform planning, design, implementation, troubleshooting and support services for Business Intelligence solutions developed on the Microsoft Business Intelligence Platform.  The consultant will work closely with a Senior Architect to develop and deliver business intelligence solutions.

Major responsibilities are:

• Customer Engagement Planning
• Business Intelligence Solution Design, Delivery and Support
• Data Visualization Development
• Dashboards and Scorecards
• Reports
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues
• Document Designs and Solutions

Required Skills

• Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 Platform
• Experience Developing in Transact-SQL
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Particularly Pivot Tables
• General Windows Server Administration Skills

Desired Skills

• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services and Analysis Services
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
• Knowledge of Multi-dimensional Analysis Concepts
