Microsoft Announces Second Quarter Mid Atlantic Partner Awards Program Winners

Washington, D.C. – Feb. 28, 2006 – Microsoft is pleased to announce the second quarter winners of the U.S. Field Partner Awards Program in the Mid Atlantic Area, consisting of Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.  This program, held quarterly, recognizes the contributions of partners serving small, mid-market and enterprise commercial customers.

“Our team realizes the value of our partners and believes these organizations should be acknowledged for their great contributions and achievements over the past quarter,” said Reed Overfelt, Mid Atlantic Area general manager for Microsoft’s Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners (SMS&P) Group. “As a company, we’re proud of the great relationships we’ve established with our partners and think it’s important to recognize those that performed exceptionally.”

In the second quarter, partners were recognized across seven individual categories: Teamwork; Satisfaction & Experience; Loyalty; Compete; Marketing Excellence; Competency; and Mid Atlantic Top Partner Award. Category winners will also be entered into the annual Regional Awards program, presented next summer at the World-Wide Partner Conference in Boston.  Winners for the Mid Atlantic area are as follows:

The Computer Solution Company & Project Solutions Group – Teamwork

The Teamwork award recognizes situations where multiple partners work together to realize the full potential of solutions for the customer.  The Computer Solution Company joined forces with Project Solutions Group to establish a team focus for a large financial services customer, who is now able to more efficiently launch, execute and measure corporate initiatives. 

The Computer Solution Company – Loyalty

The Loyalty award recognizes partners who have been exceptionally loyal to Microsoft either through tenure milestones, or through an outstanding act of loyalty that demonstrated their commitment to Microsoft.
